The Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) offers non-academic sport and recreation programmes, health and fitness and competitive sport programmes.
The Centre employs qualified staff to manage the University's sports facilities and promote physical activity through Sport and Recreation Programmes called Uni-Sports and Uni-Adventure. These programmes are offered during Semesters I and II and during the summer months. The programmes aim to provide opportunities to participate in leisure-time activities and to develop life-long physical activity skills. Courses are offered in a wide range of activities for which qualified instruction and equipment are provided at a nominal fee to students.

Gym Membership
Mental and physical health are strongly interconnected. When we feel physically fit, it is more likely that we will feel more positive and become more efficient at work along with other aspects of our lives.
To further promote an active lifestyle and health awareness among the wider Pokfulam community, the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) offers limited Community and Tenant memberships (both individual and family rates; tenant memberships are for eligible families renting HKU housing).
A comprehensive array of excellent sports facilities are located at the Stanley Ho Sports Centre (predominantly the outdoor sports centre) and the Flora Ho Sports Centre (predominantly an indoor sports centre). Charges will continue to be applicable for any courses and classes organised by CSE.
Having access to the excellent University sports facilities at a very attractive price will help maximise many health benefits to you and your family, including controlling weight, combating disease, boosting energy and an increased sense of happiness/enjoyment.
